This 60–70 km ride combines stunning scenery with authentic cultural stops—ideal for active, curious travelers. Your journey begins with a scenic train ride from Hiroshima Station to Aki-Kawajiri. From there, hop on a smooth electric-assist bike and cycle past fishing harbors, mandarin groves, and peaceful coastal roads. Highlights include Miterai, one of Japan’s last remaining Edo-period harbors, and Sannose, a historic port once visited by Korean emissaries and the Murakami sea lords. Stop for fresh-roasted coffee by the sea, enjoy a relaxed island lunch, and take in sweeping vistas at your own pace. We are heading to multiple bombed heritage sites that still remain. ・You will ride a comfortable electric bicycle to the local area, which is not only known for the Hiroshima Peace Museum. ・We will take you to unique places well-known by the local Japanese team. ・We will ride along the beautiful riverside and in the park to get an idea of the destruction of Hiroshima at that time and how it has changed into what it is now.

Along the way, we stop for coffee at a seaside café, enjoy a local lunch, and visit tucked-away beaches and scenic viewpoints far from busy sightseeing routes. Guided by a local, the day offers an authentic look at everyday island life at an unhurried pace. The tour schedule can be adjusted to combine easily with a visit to the Peace Memorial Park on the same day. This is a private tour for your group only.

You can use the E-bike all day even after the tour. Helmets not required but if you prefer one please let me know ahead of the tour. They will provide you with history and cultural knowledge of the areas and show you the best spots for photos and scenic views. Total length of the tour is about 10 Km. It is longer than other bike tours and you will see more of Hiroshima to truly get a feel for what makes it special beyond it's tragic past. We ride at casual speed. Also, you will have an opportunity to stop for snacks and drinks. The official bicycle height recommendations is 145cm or 4'9

On this guided E-bike tour, you’ll cycle through Yuki’s majestic landscape, ride along the pristine Minochi River (水内川)—one of Hiroshima’s clearest streams—and take a refreshing tea break in the serene Ishigatani Gorge(石ヶ谷峡), a spot cherished by locals since the 1600s.
