If your Alcatraz ferry departs within an hour after the city tour, you’ll be dropped off at Pier 33 (Alcatraz Landing) 30-60 minutes before. Guests will start their day with our express tour then take an assigned time ferry ride to Alcatraz and on the SAME day. Guests will be allotted enough time in between to comfortably walk and both attractions. No frills! Just thrills! Our basic tour is designed to be an optional economical introduction to the city for those in a hurry! This experience does not offer any stops with re-entry with this package. Guests will be assigned to either an Alcatraz/afternoon City Tour or Morning City Tour/afternoon Alcatraz based on our reserved voucher times. Guests will be required to meet a check in agent for their bus portion of this event. Guests do not need to take the city tour portion if they only want to complete Alcatraz.
