How we pick a tour
the 4 Good Clean Fun team
A tour makes our list only if the listing says the ride is electric or human-powered. That means an e-bike, a GoCar, an electric or solar boat, or a bicycle. A gas engine, a transfer, a show ticket, or a meal with a view does not qualify, even when the city is one we cover. The rule is the listing, read as written. We do not upgrade a vague title into an electric one.
The catalog today is built from two booking networks: Viator and GetYourGuide. A city can have rides from one of them or from both. When both list a ride, the tour page can show each listing. We are an affiliate comparison site. We are not the merchant, and we do not claim a direct contract with a tour operator. If a direct booking with an operator is added later, the page will say so. Until then, you book with the network that lists the ride.
For each ride we keep, we read the price, the duration, the route, and the meeting point. We show a starting price when the listing has one. That price is a from-price, not a quote for your date. Ratings and review counts are copied from the network that published them. We name that network on the card. We do not average Viator reviews with GetYourGuide reviews, and we do not add a score of our own.
Who a ride suits is shown only when the listing, or a note our team has actually written, says so. First-timers, families, and riders who would rather skip the hills are the kinds of notes we keep. If you do not see a line, we did not have one to show. We do not invent a fit to fill the card.
We do not ride every tour ourselves and we will not pretend to. A cartoon note on a tour page is a reading of the listing plus, when we have it, a take a person on this team approved. The note says that. It is not a claim that we operated the vehicle.
A listing drops off when it stops looking electric or human-powered, or when it is no longer available. Empty cities stay out of the directory. We do not keep a ride on the page because it used to qualify.
If you book through our links we may earn a commission. Your price does not change. No operator and no network pays for a slot on the page. Order on a card is the ride that fits the filters, not a placement fee.
The homepage shows a neutral set of popular rides to every visitor, and it can add a nearer city in your browser after the page has loaded. That nearer block does not remove the popular rides. The page you fetched is the same page a crawler fetches.
